Position Title: Inside Sales/Customer Support

Position Overview

EMS seeks an Inside Sales/Customer Support representative for our growing manufacturer’s representative agency. This person is responsible for answering inbound calls, responding to customer requests via email, facilitating customer quoting activities, and other miscellaneous sales administrative functions all for the purpose of increasing sales for the manufacturer’s we represent.

Major Duties

  • Respond to customer requests with exceptional customer service
  • Process Orders, order follow up
  • Quotation request
  • Work with EMS outside sales professionals to grow their sales
  • Serve as a liaison between our Manufacturers and our Distributors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service via phone and email
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Ability to learn many different computer programs and work proficiently with them
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems
  • Multitask with excellent attention to detail and follow up

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical industry experience
  • Local market knowledge of key channel partners

EMS has been a recognized leader in representing manufacturers throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, W. Nebraska and Nevada since 1975.

The company began with two aggressive salespeople and just a few lines over 40 years ago.
