EMS Office Manager

Job brief

We are looking for a reliable Office Manager that will manage employees, support operating systems, and facilitate administrative tasks to allow the office to run smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will need high competency in prioritization and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated, positive and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Inside Sales Team:
    • Set up Monthly Inside Sales Meetings
    • Daily oversight of the team
    • Coordinate training for continued education
    • Conduct one-on-one professional growth meetings
  • HR Coordination including:
    • New hire set up and exit check list
    • Coordinate Healthcare renewals
    • Payroll approval and changes
    • Maintain personnel records and compliance paperwork
  • Ensure office systems run properly to maximize efficiency:
    • com, Domo, Ring Central Phone system, Hubdoc, Expensify, Group Me
  • Office Administrative Tasks
  • Order and inventory office supplies
  • Submit reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist owner with basic admin duties

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, office assistant or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook (Salesforce knowledge helpful)
  • High school diploma; BA/BS preferred

EMS’ business paradigm is to drive demand at the end-user level and to service that demand through distribution. This strategy employs Business Development Managers (BDMs) with subject matter expertise working directly with end users. The BDMs support the outside sales professionals that manage distribution and commercial matters.  This combination assures EMS is seen by end users and distributors as the trusted source for their electrical equipment needs.
