About Electrical Marketing Solutions

EMS has been a recognized leader in representing manufacturers throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, W. Nebraska and Nevada since 1975.

The company began with two aggressive salespeople and just a few lines over 40 years ago. EMS has seen a number of changes though the years, including moving into its own 10,000 square foot facility in 2005. EMS has grown to 16 sales professionals by demonstrating value to our manufacturers, distributors, and end users in the Commercial, Industrial, and Utility markets.

In 2009 ABB selected EMS to represent their Power Products/Power Systems and Low Voltage Products and Systems in Utah, Idaho, western Wyoming, and parts of Montana. This expansion into a more specialized product line enabled EMS to hire a team of professionals with experience in specifying and selling power distribution equipment for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage applications.

EMS’ business paradigm is to drive demand at the end-user level and to service that demand through distribution. This strategy employs Business Development Managers (BDMs) with subject matter expertise working directly with end users. The BDMs support the outside sales professionals that manage distribution and commercial matters.  This combination assures EMS is seen by end users and distributors as the trusted source for their electrical equipment needs.
